To be honest, I’m not really that good at taking time or resources for myself.

That’s just the truth plus I’ve been making attempts to change all that. It’s as though I have a default behavior that sets most people and their needs ahead of our own. The local cannabis spot is helping me to see that, plus to actively do the things that help bring joy plus balance to our life. It’s strange that it has taken this long for me to realize that I’m really pressing to just me. But I was raised to take care of the family. And then, when I had a family of our own, their needs just came first. I didn’t mind all that as I loved raising our teenagers. The stuff with our parents plus siblings is what I could do without. I never even used recreational marijuana until the teenagers were in school. Whenever I had been given cannabis products, I demured because I wasn’t so sure how I’d act. And being 100% in control was all the rage then. But I finally gave in on a kids weekend with our friends. They used some hybrid strains that the two of us could smoke however it was the cannabis edibles that I found to be most elegant. I liked that with the edibles, the feeling came on slow plus sort of stayed with me. I just felt so relaxed plus finally aware of our deepest feelings plus thoughts. It really was an epiphany. So now that the local cannabis spot has started a cannabis cafe, I make sure I schedule a Dunkin Donuts Latte plus a shared edible with an old pal at least once a week.

The irony that our grandmother plus I were shopping together for marijuana on sale did not go unnoticed on me.

Grandma really grinned at me a few times plus told me to wipe that smirk off our face.

Indeed, this was not a scenario I ever thought that I would find myself in when it came to cannabis plus our grandma. Since granny found our stash of recreational marijuana inside the dining room of our loft when I was a junior in high school, I haven’t raised up the subject of smoking weed. I’m still sort of shocked that our own grandmother snooped that intensely in our own apartment. But that’s how she is. And we’ve consistently had a bit of a contentious relationship due to expectations of each other. But that’s often how things go between parent plus child. Still, to be inside a cannabis dispensary with our grandmother while he spoke to someone about the best sort of hybrid strain was epic. The reason that the two of us were there wasn’t so great. My grandmother had been serviced with a really treatable form of cancer. But the dentist told granny she should get some medical marijuana for the chemo treatments. My grandmother is 1 of those people who does just exactly as the dentist tells them to. So there the two of us were, at the local cannabis spot with me suggesting that maybe edible cannabis would be the best way to go. Interestingly enough, our granny really loved the hybrid strain for sale he took back to the house from the cannabis dispensary. And the two of us laughed together for the first time in a few years.

And it’d be our little medical marijuana stash.

It’s so difficult to lose your parent. My sibling Max plus I lost our mom just last year. Thankfully, it wasn’t to Covid so Max and I were able to spend time with mom before she died. Our mom even smoked medical marijuana a lot toward that last year. And that medical cannabis was such a blessing. My mom died of pancreatic cancer however it was really more as if her body just finally tired out. I know there’s consistently something that’s gonna kill ya however this cancer wasn’t an awful experience. Max plus I have been using recreational marijuana all of our adult lives. Actually, Max sort of lucked out when it came to cannabis. The two of us both are friends with a cannabis grower who was just a master of hybrid strains. He really grew cannabis because he had such a deep passion for all the benefits from marijuana. So the two of us never had to worry about where to get the cannabis the two of us used. Of course, a little went a long way given that Max and I are both professionals who have a passion for their work. The two of us recently met up to settle some last affairs of mom’s. Max had found a stash of cannabis our mother had apparently squirreled away. It was really such a cool thing to find plus the two of us decided that we’d just keep it. And it’d be our little medical marijuana stash. Besides, Max had already planned a trip to the cannabis dispensary in town. Since we’ve consistently known our own cannabis grower, the two of us thought we’d make our first trip into the local cannabis spot together. Plus, our dear mom had left some things for the staff at the cannabis dispensary where he got his medicinal marijuana.

Traveling is 1 of the things that I truly love to do.

And it doesn’t need to be some elaborate or grand trip to turn our crank.

It’s just getting out in the world to see something excellent and current or a certain area that is lovely or makes me guess good. I’m lucky to have a life partner who also enjoys packing up our automobile plus heading out for 3 or 4 afternoons. About once every month or 2, the two of us aim our trip where recreational marijuana is legal. In our state, we’re getting closer to at least medicinal marijuana. But it appears that recreational marijuana might be a stretch. However, even if it’s medicinal marijuana, I could still qualify for access to a cannabis dispensary given our chronic arthritis. But until then, I’m thankful that there is a state only 3 minutes away where the two of us can freely walk into a shop for marijuana for sale. That’s just such a joy that it’s difficult for me to articulate just how deeply the two of us care about being able to just go into a cannabis dispensary. We’re both in our 50’s plus honestly, neither 1 of us thought we’d live long enough to appreciate having legal recreational marijuana. So the two of us make a trip of it four or five times a year. The two of us love to incorporate the strange trips to the local medical cannabis spots into a long weekend. And of course, the two of us have lovely picnics plus yummy suppers along the way as well. I care about getting the cannabis edibles perhaps the most. The older I get, the less I really want to smoke marijuana. So getting a wide selection of edibles is essential.

I did not really suppose it would be a challenge to grow marijuana, but it’s not as straight-forward as I was thinking it would be. I have run into plenty of issues, however the plants do not adore the lighting in my residence. They do not adore the amount of moisture either. Every time I make a tiny change, the plants go mad. I have already lost a fair amount of seedlings plus I’m trying my best not to let the concern happen again. I went to the farm store plus I bought special lighting plus soil. The soil is made for growing marijuana. The lights are also meant to be helpful for growing marijuana, but they are not particularly made for cannabis. They are made for Greenhouse plants plus vegetables. I went through a ton of seeds unquestionably quickly without any actual results, so I made the move to buy seedlings this time. The seedlings are due to come to the store in a matter of a few days. The employer of the weed shop knows that I wish to have many of the seedlings plus he is supposed to be holding those items in the back of the store for me. I told the guy to call me as soon as the plants ended up coming in. I’m relatively excited to see what the seedlings will look like to be honest. They are supposed to be 12 to 18 in. I haven’t been able to get a plant to make it to that size. If I start with a plant that is fairly older, I am actually hoping that I will have nicer results. If I fail again, it might be time to think about better options.

I haven’t been able to get a plant to make it to that healthy size. If I actually get started with a plant that is a little bit older, I am genuinely hoping that I will have far nicer results. If I fail again, it might be time to reconsider the greenhouse options entirely.

I most definitely enjoy living in a state with legal cannabis… My lady plus I ordered from the weed shop this past Wednesday.

It was genuinely wet, cold, plus rainy outside! Neither of us wished to leave the residence, but the delivery service charged a $5.95 fee for delivery.

It seemed like a small amount of money when the rain was falling heavily with thunder plus lightning to deal with. My lady plus I took our time when we were ordering online. We actually looked at each one of the specials plus online deals. We felt no need to rush since all of us were using the online website. We added a fair amount of unusual items to the cart plus were careful about the final selections, so we could save some money! After we put in our order, we were called from the store. The bartender said the driver would arrive within an hour. The time frame seems alright given the weather plus our general proximity to the store. My lady plus I were surprised by the doorbell after only 40 minutes. It was undoubtedly the driver from the weed store, but he was super cute plus very friendly. He told my lady plus I that we definitely could not be over 30. He was flirting with both of us plus it wasn’t a problem. If that guy had been 10 years older, we likely would have invited him in for a glass of wine plus a slice of lasagna. The guy had a nice smile. He also had undoubtedly nice blue eyes plus a dimple on his left cheek.
