My best neighbor and I went on holiday to a locale where recreational and medical marijuana is legal, and since we were there for a couple of days, we decided to buy some recreational marijuana supplies from a dispensary, however my best neighbor and I found out that the locale gave free delivery to the local hotels.

The next time we decided to purchase recreational marijuana, we decided to use the delivery system.

It was supposed to be fast and easy, but it was neither. The online website was hard to navigate and the shopping cart kept losing all of our items every time I refreshed the page. That was our same response to her request for a tip. There was no free pre roll in the bag.

California still hadn’t passed its historic cannabis law yet. This is how things were when I was a kid and I’m genuinely surprised by the sea change that I have witnessed in the two decades since. Now over half of the country has some form of legal cannabis that can be purchased by approved adults within the states with these laws. Despite this, the laws around the country are not uniform. The medical marijuana regulations and rules are vastly different in one state versus another. For a while certain states did not impose lab testing on all of their products, but now you’re seeing it in most medical and recreational cannabis markets Still, the state governments need to crack down on lab shopping which is a serious problem. Laboratories are often taking bribes from marijuana producers to get favorable test results with the highest THC levels and the cleanest purity tests. It’s downright disgusting to see how much lab shopping is happening in states across the country. It’s even worse when you go to a state that has no lab testing rules altogether. You have no idea in that situation what exactly is inside your marijuana products. For all you know they could have metal shavings or mold spores in the cannabis flower products. I’d rather buy marijuana from a medical cannabis dispensary that is rated highly for independent testing and customer satisfaction. You can find out a lot about a company by looking at what customers are saying on social media.

I’ve always been one of those people who has a very hard time really appreciating all the things that are going on at the moment.

I really almost immediately saw the benefit of slowing down and enjoying the ride. This was a concept that had been completely unfamiliar to me prior to my first experience with legal weed.

But, that’s all in the past

For me, our mental health is absolutely improved with visits to the legal pot store. Honestly, this is because I’ve spent our life getting high. In fact, the opposite is true. My life has been locked down in effort plus expectation for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up, there was no such thing as legal cannabis. There was no such thing as a marijuana dispensary. And there honestly wasn’t a locale to go for recreational marijuana. So, it was pretty easy for me to miss out on just what all was going on in that area of life. Even in college, I didn’t smoke recreational pot. I was either too guilted out or too worried about recreational weed or maybe a combination of the 2. So I didn’t think about the benefits of legal cannabis. Once it became legal, that legal cannabis pretty much changed our life profoundly. I find that I am a much more balanced person with ordinary use of legal weed. And the folks down at the marijuana dispensary are absolutely enjoyable about making sure that I get a cannabis education all these years later. It’s been a real change however one that I simply wish I could have made a long time ago. But, that’s all in the past. So it makes me just that much more grateful for the legal weed store.

And the folks down at the marijuana dispensary are really enjoyable about making sure that I get a cannabis education all these years later. It’s been a real change however, one that I simply wish I could have made a long time ago, but that’s all in the past. The key to succeeding in business is to make the right moves before anyone else does.

You need to be ahead of the curve for long enough that you finally set the curve.

Take Google, for instance — Google no longer has competition. There is no more bing, yahoo or any other platform trying to do it. Google runs the entire internet with legitimately little competition. They set the curve for everyone else to follow, so there are no competitors for the market share! Over the last few months there have been a few new cannabis dispensaries opening up in this city, and so I need to stay ahead of them. My cannabis dispensary was the first in town, and both of us have a strong, good purchaser base, but I can’t just rest back on my laurels. That will allow the other guys time to catch up! Instead I need to push forward, evolve or die, as they say, and I love the idea of a cannabis cafe. I like the idea because I can start small, with a booth in the corner of the cannabis dispensary, and both of us can focus on baked goods and edibles. A line of gourmet cannabis candies and cookies will be attractive to the eye and hopefully make some good sales. So spending on this, I can expand into the empty store next door, which has a limited seating, and host a real cannabis cafe with a full menu. The place is large enough that it could have some music, and if this place had food and music it would be the go-to, must-see cannabis dispensary for the whole town.

I suppose this is an odd idea, but hear me out! Food trucks are super new and cool right? I personally don’t like going to food trucks.

I find them costly, but the point is that people enjoy them.

When a bar has some food trucks set up outside, all of a sudden it’s a block party. Everyone makes money, and I know food is just the beginning. This is just the evolution of the ice cream trucks that were around when I was a kid! My idea takes it to the next level, by having a mobile cannabis dispensary that can be driven to special events. It turns out the laws haven’t changed too much, and selling cannabis from a truck will get me thrown in jail. It doesn’t matter anyway. I have a way around it! People really wait almost an hour to get food from a truck, so they will wait that long for cannabis, too. I will set up the cannabis truck with samples, no quantities for sale at all. This will just be a sample part, so to speak, where people can smell and examine the cannabis and decide what they want to order. Then I call in the order into the cannabis dispensary nearby, and they will send a delivery driver out with the order. The customer will have their cannabis within the timeframe and both of us don’t have to store any product on the truck itself! It is only a matter of time before I can realize my dream and make a fully functional, fully stocked cannabis van, but for now this will do.

I was raised in a farming community, on a farm that had everything.

My parents grew crops plus had animals, all the regular farmyard happiness.

It wasn’t until I started going to university that my parents told myself and my brothers not to talk about particular parts of the farm. I had no idea what they were talking about at the time, but they said some plants were considered not by the book plus the family was not really allowed to grow them. Country folk are great folk, so no one seemed to mind our folks growing marijuana, so long as all the people were undoubtedly sneaky about it. It was an open secret, so to speak, plus the two of us had some neighbors who would even trade meat, fruit, plus fresh veggies for marijuana.

I have to say that life has been going pretty decent lately… or it had been, anyway, until last week.

To me the work was great, I enjoyed what I did plus hadn’t made any major mistake I was aware of.

Then the word dropped, plus while I was in a staff meeting the boss said that more layoffs were heading our way, due to the resurgence of the virus cutting into our sales. They started with the newest hires, so after only a month or two I was let go. This one particularly hurts, because wonderful works are hard to find, plus this business had a medical insurance program that covered our medicinal cannabis prescription. There was an upfront pay at the cannabis dispensary, of course, but still that was a fraction of the total price. I knew a wonderful thing when I had it, so every time I went to the cannabis dispensary I got the maximum amount allowed by the prescription. This was way, way more weed after that I could possibly smoke in that time frame, even though I kept buying it just to have it, just in case. I got a substantial mason jar, with a clear lid that worked with our vacuum sealer, plus started keeping our excess cannabis inside it. I called it our savings account, plus over the course of 3 months I accumulated about a few hits of cannabis. At the rate I smoke, I figure this is enough cannabis to last myself and others for 3 more months, maybe a little more if I smoke a little less. I don’t have any currency saved up, but at least I have cannabis.
