Currently, there are approximately 40 states that have legalized the use of medical marijuana and there are millions of Americans who use natural medicine to cure or help with many illnesses, however these illnesses range from chronic pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, Alzheimer’s disease, insomnia, PTSD, depression, epilepsy, and so much more! And numerous healthcare workers within the medical industry have now become open to recommending the drug for their patients’ illnesses, then so, with medical marijuana being so widely used, you would feel that the stigma for the drug has been reduced. And perhaps it has, however there are still numerous people who judge those who use holistic practices to cure their pain; Part of the reason for the terrible wrap is that marijuana has been viewed in a negative way for so numerous years. After all, it was a popular street drug which is what most of us neighbor with it, i find that it’s a generational thing. The younger youngsters are completely open to the use of marijuana both recreationally and medicinally, but older folks like my parents, still view marijuana as nothing more than a street drug! Even after it has been legalized by the government. Some people who use medical marijuana have even divulged to feeling ashamed when using the drug to treat their illnesses and it’s all because the drug is still being scrutinized by so many. Personally, I don’t use medical marijuana and I have never used the drug, however if I had a chronic illness, I would rather take medical marijuana versus taking prescription drugs. In my opinion, the natural remedy is always the better way to go.
