I thought I was too fantastic for the cannabis dispensary

I had to change my attitude about my modern job in the medical cannabis dispensary because I was making myself miserable.

First of all, don’t let anyone convince you that you have to go to college… You don’t! I went to an esteemed 4 year school, got my degree, and wound up with a ton of student debt and no fantastic job prospects.

I applied at corporations all around the city, and barely even got any interviews. I realized that in order to beginning making currency to pay my student loans I needed to take any job I could find… My choices were Starbucks or the medical cannabis dispensary, both of which I thought were beneath me. I chose the medical cannabis shop because it paid a little better, but I still had a bad attitude at work. My boss observed, and pulled me into his office for a little chat. He explained that his personal philosophy was to give life-saving medical cannabis products to the patients of the dispensary. He didn’t think about these people as clients, but as patients, because medical cannabis was making their lives better, however unlike the dangerous pills and toxic meds peddled on TV commercials, medical cannabis is all-natural, and a remedy for dozens of odd ailments. The director told me that I needed to change my attitude about medical cannabis, or I had to find a modern job. His talk entirely made a difference in how I approached the job. I no longer thought of the cannabis dispensary as a locale for stoners, but as a kind of pharmacy that helps people improve their lives.
