Ever since our state legalized recreational marijuana, the cannabis dispensary has a bigger inventory. It isn’t just the amount of product they carry, but the difference in the type of products they are carrying. The inventory went from medical marijuana to carrying recreation marijuana products like gummies and other edible products. I wanted to purchase some of the gummy bears, but they wouldn’t allow it. I had a medical marijuana card that did not allow me to purchase products that were recreational. I was paying cash for my medical cannabis, and I didn’t know why they had the right to exclude certain marijuana products. I knew the cost of recreational marijuana was higher, but I paid to make gummies at home with all the extra products I had to purchase. I would have gladly paid extra money for recreational marijuana products at the cannabis dispensary. If they would just ignore the fact that I had a medical marijuana card. I ended up going to a new cannabis dispensary where they didn’t know me, and they didn’t ask if I had a medical marijuana card. All I had to do was show ID to prove I was over 21, and I went into the cannabis dispensary. They had an even bigger inventory than the cannabis dispensary I regularly went to. I bought several edible products and took them home. My husband gave me an odd look. All I could say was that when I wanted something, I got it. As my father always told us: Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
