It feels great to finally have medical cannabis

Getting outdated is definitely no joke… The only wonderful thing is that I have enough money as well as insurance to get all the drugs I need; however, for the last fifty years I have been a regular consumer of both whiskey as well as marijuana… Then liquor has consistently been legal in our lifetime, so that has been a constant.

For about 49 of those 50 smoking years, weed has been illegal for the most part.

As all long-time potheads already know, the law was never an impediment to getting cannabis, it just means there are fewer options available. Last year medical cannabis was legalized, as well as the rumor mill says that recreational use will be legalized next year. This still makes our life easier, because it felt a little silly being a 68 year outdated girl as well as buying cannabis from kids; I don’t have to worry about that any longer, because there are now several weird legal cannabis dispensaries within driving distance, and my dentist approved myself and others for a medical cannabis prescription card, which means I can go to any of these shops as well as buy whatever I want. There are limits, of course, because no one is allowed to buy an ounce of cannabis all at once. This makes sense to me, who would need so much cannabis unless they were planning to sell it? I usually just purchase a few grams of cannabis at any given time, partially because I prefer having a variety of strains to choose from! Even if I could buy a full ounce of Blue Dream I don’t suppose I would do it, because I appreciate trying something modern every time I go to the dispensary.
