The only time I hate being a marijuana delivery driver is when there is bad weather.
It doesn’t rain a lot here, but when there is rain, the roads are really bad.
They get slick and slippery very quickly and it can be difficult to see when there is a lot of fog. Most of our marijuana deliveries are outside of the city and that means that we often drive on country roads where there is very little light. I was driving in the rain on Friday night and I almost missed a turn because I couldn’t see anything past the front of the car. The rain was coming down heavily and there was a lot of fog outside as well. I slammed on the brakes so I could make the turn in time and my car started to slide and skid all over the place. I thought I was going to end up in the ditch on the side of the road. I got out of my car to make sure that everything was okay and I stepped into a huge pile of mud. There was mud all over my car and the front seat. When I got to the marijuana delivery, I must have looked like I walked there in the rain. The lady in the apartment didn’t say anything to me about the way that I was dressed, but she did make a comment about the fact that it was raining outside. Thankfully she gave me a very big tip for coming out there on a rainy and foggy Friday night.
