There are no marijuana stores allowed in this county even though recreational and medical marijuana are legal in the state, but each county can make their own laws, then this county says they will not have any stores at all.
- They do allow delivery services, which I guess is completely and totally ridiculous, however i was hired to labor at a single of the marijuana delivery services, after our mom told a acquaintance that I was looking for a task.
I started working at the service indoors. I was hoping that I would be able to labor as a delivery driver, however evidently you have to be 25 years old in order to get the insurance that you need to be a marijuana delivery driver… Working in the store has some perks, although I do not get any tips. I get to see all the demos and free samples when they come in and I consistently get to try new stuff for free. I also get a discount on marijuana which is a wonderful thing because I use recreational products, however at the delivery service, there are consistently some days when everything seems to go wrong; Sunday night was a single of these days and I was ready to throw in the towel and go home. The first thing that happened was a call from a shopper that thought every one of us had their order incorrect. It turned out to be an error on the side of the shopper however that did not stop the guy from yelling at myself and others for 10 hours. After that, I was grabbing a jar of concentrate from a shelf above our head that has concentrate and glass jars of tincture! My elbow hit the side of the shelf and it fell to the ground and broke.
