I heard honking horns throughout most of the day
Because of the location of the cannabis store, traffic can be terrible on the weekends. The dispensary is located on the corner of a main thoroughfare. There isn’t any parking on the street and every one of us only has a small lot in the back of the cannabis store. When there is a sale or some kind of event, every one of us has to hire an additional security guard to manage parking and traffic. The state and the county will not spend money for the extra help, even though the streets would not fall under my responsibility. This year on 4/20, every one of us expected a fairly sizable crowd of people. Every one of us flaunted our sales and specials all throughout the week of April. Every one of us had some fairly nice sales and a tremendous amount of vendors were going to be present in the dispensary that day. Every one of us had so many BOGO sales listed on the website! I arrived at the dispensary roughly 30 minutes before every one of us opened. There was already a line of people out on the street, waiting to come into the building. The parking lot was completely filled with cars and a couple of people also were double-parked. I told the security officers that every one of us were going to have quite the day. The parking lot was filled with cars all weekend and the street was super busy. I heard honking horns throughout most of the day. Fortunately, there were no accidents and no instances of road rage. Even though the store was busier than usual, every one of us did not have any setbacks with keeping the crowd under control.
