The cannabis store has been completely busy while in the last couple of weeks, however school is out and all of the university people are hanging out and enjoying the summer.
I definitely thought our sales would suffer considerably.
I have been shocked by the amount of deliveries we still get from the university… There must be a ton of students that don’t leave or take Summer classes… Last weekend was super busy, due to the 4th of July. I had extra employees arranged to do work on each shift. I worked the daytime hour shift on Tuesday! By the time it was 1 o’clock, I was ready to sit down and rest. My fiance called me to meet him for some food, and I left the recreational cannabis store a few minutes before 1. I did not return to the cannabis store until a couple of minutes after 2! When I entered the parking lot, there were a number of patrol cars outside of the building. I did not actually think the patrol cars could be handling an issue at the dispensary since my cell phone did not ring at all while on my break. I walked inside of the building and a bunch of officers were getting statements from the staff. I asked the assistant manager what was happening, and he explained that there was no time to call me, as everything happened unquestionably hastily. A disgruntled client came into the cannabis store with a baseball bat. He started destroying the building before the security guard could tackle him. The police were called after the client was eventually subdued. The assistant manager was getting prepared to call me when I pulled into the parking lot.
