My spouse wishes for me to stop smoking cannabis

I’ve been smoking cannabis for a good 20 years of my life. I started using marijuana when I eventually was able to get out of the army. It was substantially better than taking medications for the PTSD symptoms. When medical marijuana was entirely legalized, the healthcare expert didn’t have any concern in the least giving me a prescription. I felt like it changed my life a good amount. After using medical marijuana on a regular basis, I felt better than I had in so long. I started smoking even more marijuana when it was legalized for recreational use. When I met my spouse, she wasn’t totally happy plus in love with the fact that I enjoyed marijuana. Of course, she typically thought it was a complication I could actually fix. I tried to explain to her that marijuana was a useful medicine for me just like the medicine she was taking for her blood pressure issues! Eventually she stopped giving me problems plus we chose to get married. It’s been a year since the wedding ceremony plus now my spouse is talking about me quitting with all the smoking again. I was honestly thinking she was done with the nonsense, but it looks like she still might feel a certain way about marijuana plus that is entirely disappointing news for the future of our marriage. I most definitely have no plans to stop using medical or recreational marijuana. I talked to my therapist about all this with my wife plus I talked to my primary care physician about the effects of choosing to stop with marijuana after such a long time. The healthcare expert unquestionably feels that is a disappointing move to make plus he would rather attempt to educate my spouse on the wonderful benefits of medical plus recreational marijuana products.
