My partner is trying to get me to stop smoking marijuana

I’ve been smoking marijuana for roughly 20 years of my life.

  • I honestly started using marijuana after I got out of the army.

It was a great deal better than taking medications for the PTSD symptoms, and when medical marijuana was legalized, the healthcare worker did not have any concern giving me a prescription. I felt as though it changed my life! After using medical marijuana regularly, I felt much better than I had in a long while. I started smoking even more marijuana once it was legalized for recreational use. When I met my partner, she wasn’t ecstatic about the fact that I smoke marijuana, however she regularly thought it was a concern I could hack. I attempted to explain to her that marijuana was a medicine for myself and others similar to the medicine she was taking for her blood pressure, however eventually she stopped hounding me plus the two of us got married. It’s been a year since the wedding plus now my partner is talking about me entirely quitting smoking again. I thought she was done with the craziness, but it seems as though she still might feel strongly about marijuana plus that is genuinely terrible news for the future of our relationship. I certainly have no plans to stop using medical or recreational marijuana. I talked to my therapist about everything that my lady said plus I talked to my primary care doctor about the effects of actually quitting marijuana after such a long time. The doctor certainly feels that is not the best idea plus she would rather try to educate my partner on the benefits of medical plus recreational marijuana.
