My husband is hoping for me to quit smoking marijuana

It’s been a year since the ceremony and now my husband wants me to quit smoking again.

I’ve been smoking marijuana for roughly 20 years of my life. I actually started using marijuana after I got out of the military. It was so much better than taking medications for the PTSD symptoms. When medical marijuana was eventually legalized, the healthcare professional did not have any trouble giving me a prescription. I really felt as though it changed my life. After using medical marijuana on a regular basis, I felt much better than I had in forever. I started smoking even more marijuana once it was legalized for recreational reasons. When I met my husband, he wasn’t happy and in love with the fact that I smoke marijuana… He basically always consistently thought it was a real concern I could keep in check. I tried to explain to the man that marijuana was a medicine for me similar to the medicine he was taking for his blood pressure. After so much time, he stopped hassling me and we got married. It’s been a year since the ceremony and now my husband wants me to quit smoking again. I was actually thinking he was done with the foolishness, but it really seems that he still might feel strongly about marijuana and that is not such great news for the future of our relationship. I actually have no plans to actually quit using medical or recreational marijuana. I had a conversation with my therapist about everything that my man said and I had a conversation with my primary care healthcare worker about the effects of quitting marijuana after all this time. The healthcare worker actually feels that is not a wise idea and he would rather try to educate my husband on the tremendous benefits of medical and recreational marijuana.
