I wasn’t quite sure that I would live to see the day when I could unquestionably walk into a marijuana business.
But now, I’m able to stroll down the street a few blocks & do just that at the local cannabis spot.
It still astounds myself and others every time I take this trip. And it is indeed a trip when you consider what it took just to get a bin of cannabis back in the day. The region I lived in wasn’t exactly awash in weed. I had l gained about & experimented with recreational marijuana when I was away at school. However, I came back for a task in my home region, settled down & didn’t leave. It’s sort of a small neighborhood life but I still legitimately much enjoy recreational marijuana as did my wife. But getting our hands on it was not simple & not all that safe either. The two of us didn’t know a marijuana grower so that occasion was out. And knowing a marijuana grower would have made things just so much simpler. But in that region at that time, marijuana growers weren’t exactly advertising that’s for sure. More often than not we’d get a name from a friend of a friend. Then it was all stealth action to get a bin of marijuana that the people I was with and I had no idea about. The two of us didn’t know if it was sativa, indica or some sort of hybrid strain. And forget about having any clue when it came to the THC gratified. That was just out. So just taking a stroll & spending a half our perusing the aisles of the local cannabis spot comes with a lot of thankfulness.
