So all this time that I’d been going to the pharmacy, I should have been going to the legal weed store. Sure cheerful that I got that straightened out. Seriously though, our whole life changed when I figured out how to get a medical marijuana card & got myself to the medical marijuana dispensary. It was there that I found the 1 thing that allows myself and others to manage our chronic pain in a way that allows myself and others to have a life. Prior to treating with medical cannabis, I went down the pain killer path. And that’s a slippery path to be on. However, when I started with the pain killers, I was easily aware of the possibilities when it came to having a problem. And sure enough, I found myself leaning on the pain meds far more than I wanted to. So, I had to find something else & I wasn’t sure where to turn. I’m lucky to have a forward thinking dentist. Once medical marijuana was legalized, he commanded I look into medical marijuana benefits as an alternative to the meds. And that’s exactly what I did. I truly liked the plan of using a natural plant to deal with our chronic pain. So when I got access to the cannabis dispensary, I went with cannabis flower products. From the outset, I knew that I was onto something with cannabis products. I was able to manage the pain much better while also being free to live without pain meds. It’s just gotten better & better the longer I keep treating our chronic pain with medical marijuana.
