Lab shopping may be cannabis industry’s greatest challenge so far

At one point in time it seemed like cannabis restrictions across the country would never loosen, no matter how much time went by.

You couldn’t go to a different state from your own and become a medical marijuana patient.

Surprisingly, even the famous California still hadn’t passed its renowned and historic cannabis law by then. This explains how things were when I was still a small child. The amount of change that has happened over time still amazes me todate. It is even more surprising that all these have happened in just two decades. Currently, over half of the country has some form of legal cannabis that anyone can buy as long as they prove that they are approved adults within the states and that they abide by these laws. Despite this, the laws around the country are not uniform. The medical marijuana regulations and rules are vastly different in a ech state as they vary from one state to another. For a while now, certain states did not impose lab testing on all of their products. This has since changed and now more than ever you’re likely to see that in most medical and recreational cannabis markets. Even at this, the state governments need to crack down on lab shopping which is an extremely serious problem. Laboratories are often taking bribes from marijuana producers to get favorable test results with the highest THC levels and the cleanest purity tests. It’s downright disgusting to see how much lab shopping is taking place in states across the country. It’s even worse when you go to a state that has no lab testing rules altogether. Sadly, there is no way to know for sure what is inside your marijuana products. For all you can tell, they could have metal shavings or mold spores in the cannabis flower products. I’d rather buy marijuana from a medical cannabis dispensary that is rated highly for independent testing and client satisfaction. You can find out more concerning this business by looking at what customers are saying on relevant social media.
