Is medical marijuana really safe?

Some time back it felt like cannabis restrictions across the country would never change and become favorable despite the passage of time.

You couldn’t go to a different state to be a medical marijuana patient because back then CA still hadn’t passed its historic cannabis law yet.

This is how things were when I was a child. This explains why iit is surprising that a lot has changed in just under 2 decades. Now over half of the country has some form of legalization of cannabis. Most states only require one to be bought by approved adults within the states with these laws. Despite this, the laws around the country are not uniform. The medical marijuana regulations & rules are vastly different when you compare state versus another. For a while specific states did not impose lab testing on all of their products. This has however changed and now you’re seeing it in most medical and recreational cannabis markets. Still, the state governments need to crack down on lab shopping which is a stubborn yet more serious problem than many acknowledge it to be. Laboratories are often accepting bribes from marijuana producers to get favorable test results with the highest THC levels and the cleanest purity tests. It’s downright disgusting to see how much lab shopping is happening in states across the country. It’s even worse when you go to a state that has no lab testing rules altogether. You have no way of telling what is inside your marijuana products. For all you can tell, the components in the product could have metal shavings or mold spores in the cannabis flower products. I’d rather buy marijuana from a medical cannabis dispensary that is rated highly for independent testing and also one that is known for purchaser satisfaction. You can find out a lot about a supplier by looking at what customers are saying on social media which is why you should always start there.
