When I was a young man, I made some pretty terrible choices.
That I made it through school, in addition to finishing, separate from being expelled or going to jail is a wonderful thing! For a while I had a small drug problem, in addition to that I ran with a crew of older kids that were all holding drastic drug concerns.
All of us stole a lot of stuff, but never got into heavy crimes, just enough to buy drugs… Well finally I saw the light, I turned around, in addition to cleaning up our act. After a couple of years of living clean, and putting my life together, the world rewarded me by opening a cannabis dispensary next door. I think “the world” didn’t open a cannabis dispensary, I’m saying that fate brought it here, to the old strip mall next door, as a reward for our karmic realignment. The weed that I used to risk jail time to receive is now readily available to myself and others from 10am to 10pm, 7days a week. This makes sense to me, because a kid should never have to be afraid of going to jail over something as self-explanatory as marijuana. The only reason weed has a bad name is because criminalizing it made the users act prefer criminals; Now that cannabis dispensaries are all around available, no person needs to creep around in back alleys making shady deals to get it. The cannabis plant is a gift from the universe, to be shared in addition to enjoyed, not terrorized and punished. Now that I have said our piece, I am going next door to buy some marijuana.
