One thing I never even thought would happen, was not needing to hide the fact that I use cannabis regularly. The real issue with our country is that pot is not legal in the entire country, however only in a small selection of states. When I heard that marijuana was legal in various states, I was hoping to learn why it wasn’t legalized in our state. I have a neighbor in another state who feels it is fantastic to have legalized recreational marijuana in their state. She said she forgot to bring a lighter with her so she could light up her marijuana pre-roll cigarette. She was visiting her Grandma at the nursing home, and she asked the groundskeeper for a lighter. I laughed when she told me that she had a pot lollipop in her mouth at the time. The groundskeeper laughed and asked if he easily smelled marijuana. She admitted she needed the lighter for her pre-roll. She also said she was blissful that she remembered she had the pot pop in her purse. He said he would trade the cigarette lighter for a pot pop, admitting that he had left his pot brownies in the break room. After hearing this, I knew I needed to easily discover a way to get the laws changed in our state. It just isn’t fair in the least that I need to sneak around to appreciate some cannabis. The country needs to make things right and legalize not just medical marijuana, however recreational marijuana for anyone who aims to appreciate it. I would love to be able to kneel out on the porch with a marijuana cigarette or a pot pop and not have my neighbor making threats to call the police.
