You can make cannabis edibles with CBD enriched hemp products

When I was first prescribed medicine for my anxiety problems, it worked really well.

  • I would wait to take it until I was suffering from symptoms and within 20 to 30 minutes the effects would begin.

Like many others on these medications, the effects started to dwindle after I had been on them for more than two years. I was beginning to experience anxiety and panic attacks that I couldn’t diminish with my normal doses. My physician increased my doses by a little, but when I got used to that, I realized that I needed a new approach to treating my anxiety. I started trying cannabis products from the recreational dispensary, but I found that the high THC in many of the products offered would simply make my own problems worse. I asked if they had CBD and hemp products, but they told me there are better ones that you can order on the internet because of the 2018 Farm Bill. Through some internet searches I found a great hemp and CBD supplier and I quickly started trying their full spectrum CBD concentrates. They were extremely effective at treating my chronic anxiety symptoms without making me feel intoxicated and preventing me from performing at full capacity at my job. Although I love vaporizing full spectrum CBD concentrates, I wanted to find a way to enjoy CBD for longer stretches of time between doses. That’s why someone told me to make cannabis edibles with CBD and hemp oil. Instead of buying CBD rosin to vaporize, I could purchase CBD distillate oil and add it to melted down candy before hardening it again. I gave it a shot and absolutely loved the hemp cannabis edibles!

CBD topicals are becoming increasingly popular with older folks

My pharmacist told me that he sells a lot of full spectrum CBD cream and lotion to older folks who use them for things like arthritis, back pain, and nerve pain

Some medications are effective when administered directly to the skin. Lidocaine is a good example. You can put lidocaine into an adhesive patch and stick it to your skin in the place where you’re feeling joint or muscle pain. When doing this, the lidocaine can absorb directly into the affected area. Drugs like ibuprofen or acetaminophen take a lot longer to kick in, and there’s no guarantee if they’ll actually relieve pain in specific places in your extremities. I have had a lot of positive effects from lidocaine patches for this reason, but I wouldn’t try to use one to fix a stomach ache. There are other medicines being used as topicals, some old and some new. For years there has been benadryl cream for allergic reactions, but nowadays you can actually get cannabis in topical form. They come in creams, lotions, pastes, and patches. Just like with any other topical medicine, the idea is to target a specific place of pain. If you have a patch, you can do slow absorption over a long period of time. Just like with THC enriched cannabis topicals, you can also find hemp and CBD filled topical products. My pharmacist told me that he sells a lot of full spectrum CBD cream and lotion to older folks who use them for things like arthritis, back pain, and nerve pain. He says that of them swear by it and attest that there is nothing else like it for relieving their chronic pain. I would have had no idea that CBD topicals were so popular with senior citizens, but it makes a lot of sense to me in retrospect.

Natural help from cannabinoids for my depression

Seeing life through my filter is, I’m quite certain, much different that seeing life otherwise.

This is due to a chronic depression that I have dealt with for the better part of my entire life.

And it has not been an easy life for me. Depression has robbed me of so much joy in life that, for a long time, I wasn’t sure if I could remember just what joy felt like. Thankfully, with the help of a some minor cannabinoids, I’m beginning to see some real joy in my life. That is thanks in large part to CBN and CBC. I noted some years ago that my mood not only lifted when I smoked weed but it shifted. Like there was a sort of paradigm shift from the marijuana that helped find a perspective that wasn’t so unbearable. This was a big find for me and led me directly to CBN and CBC. CBC isolates have been shown to greatly reduce the symptoms of depression. Honestly, I don’t really think there is a real cure so much for my condition. But having the ability to by bulk cannabinoids has been a real breakthrough. The CBN and the CBC I use are both derived from the hemp plant. This is different from the marijuana flower. The THC content doesn’t really measure up in minor cannabinoids like it does in weed. That was a big key for me in switching to CBC and CBN. While the weed really did help me to relax, I just really didn’t like having the high. The CBN gives me the calming effect which also leads to a full shift in perspective that weed does. But with the CBN, I don’t have to deal with the psychoactive elements.

Finding all kinds of relief thanks to THCV

Trauma has some crazy effects on people. And it’s not just on an emotional level either. While the emotional results are completely noticeable, at least for me, there are several physically related issues with PTSD. And I should know, I’ve been facing or managing my PTSD for quite some time now. However, I have recently added THCV to the mix as far as treatment options are concerned. This has made a large difference. I was first introduced to the plan of utilizing marijuana to manage PTSD symptoms. This was something that had worked for a number of people in my support group. So I gave it a try on my own. There was a near immediate positive effect when I used the medical marijuana. But the psychoactive component wasn’t especially good for me. I enjoyed the calm I earned but the high made it strenuous for me to function normally. That’s what’s so fantastic about this minor cannabinoid. THCV gives me the calming effect of weed without having so much of the challenge of the psychoactive qualities of pot. And this has been a complete game changer for me. Adding CBN to the THCV therapy has also been super beneficial. The CBN has a particular calming effect that I can literally feel. It’s sort of similar to a mild valium without the fog of the medication. I add the CBN on afternoons where the PTSD symptoms are a bit more tough to manage. This helps the THCV to help me to calm a bit quicker & to find a grounded perspective.

THCV has been instrumental with my weight loss methods

So I’m eating natural foods as well as had to do away with any sort of processed items

I’ve been facing some weight complications since I was a youngster. While I do indeed have some serious appetites for the fattening stuff, it’s also super genetic. Weight management as well as obesity run in my family on both sides. Even when I was an active teen athlete, I still had to control what I ate to keep unwanted pounds off. A minor cannabinoid called THCV has recently played a pretty crucial role in being able to curb my appetite. This is quite ironic considering that THCV isolates are a close cousin of the THC. That would be the active as well as psychoactive compound that is found in marijuana. I suppose from personal experience that using marijuana only makes me want to eat. There is a definitive reason they call it the munchies. So I was stunned to find research on THCV that indicated those attempting to curb or suppress appetite could utilize this. I get bulk cannabinoids as they are taken from hemp as well as not a problem where I reside. Once I started the THCV, I was amazed by how effective it was from the very beginning. Going with a natural substance in my efforts to get to as well as maintain a healthy weight are in line with my overall approach to this actual situation. This time, I’m not going with fad diets or trying to starve myself. That’s just a proven failure to be honest. I’ve changed my lifestyle in fact. Migraine much better with medical cannabis

There are many of us out there.

And we deal with something that a lot of people sort of brush off as being over sensitive about a little headache.

And migraines are so far removed from just a headache. And, for me, mostly come out of nowhere. Up until started using cannabis products, I had litter relief. The medications prescribed to me were limited to say the least. But once the migraine showed itself, there was little I could do to stop it. There were also just so many side effects with the meds. Thankfully, medical marijuana is legal here. It took a long time for there to be legal weed shops. However, recent voting results have changed that. I was able to get a referral to a doctor that prescribes medical cannabis. It wasn’t that tough really and I was able to figure out how to get a medical marijuana card within just over a month. This made access to the marijuana dispensary a possibility for me. So I figured I’d give it a try after reading some important medical marijuana information. The medical marijuana has definitely reduced the frequency of my migraines. And that extends to the severity as well. I’m not sure that I’ll ever be free of migraines like for the rest of my life or something. Being hopeful for that is one thing but I also can count on cannabis products to help me manage my condition. That is a real comfort for which I’m very grateful to have medical marijuana and legal cannabis shop.

Doing better with cancer treatments adding medical marijuana

This isn’t my first rodeo with cancer.

But perhaps this set of treatments will get me into a prolonged remission.

To that end, I have prepared a bit more for the cancer treatment. And part of that preparation is having already learned how to get my medical marijuana card. That is done ahead of time now. The last bout of cancer treatment, I went into chemo without medical marijuana and it was just the worst. Toward the end, I was able to access the medical marijuana dispensary. And I saw the difference that cannabis products make and it was a huge difference. There was way less nausea. I didn’t feel queasy just all the time and the medical cannabis helped bolster my appetite. So this round of treatment, I’m ready to power through the best I can. Look, nothing makes going through this deal easy. That’s just not a reasonable expectation. But man, access to the legal weed store sure makes the process more manageable. And that is something that I can really appreciate having been through a similar process already. I’m a very big proponent of access to medical marijuana. It’s natural, it’s multidimensional and it’s safe. We’re getting there and I’m sure thankful that I could navigate the marijuana regulations. But this medical marijuana should be available for all that can benefit from it. And that’s a lot of people. Hopefully, as appears to be happening, we are reaching a tipping point where medical marijuana will simply be commonly accepted. It won’t be far away until that day.
