I’m switching back to medical marijuana flower again after months of using concentrates

When I signed up for a medical marijuana card, I was ready to try anything.

My mental health problems had reached an impasse and I was desperate for whatever help that I could find for functioning during the day. The prescription medications I tried were only helpful for a few months, after which I started experiencing increasing side-effects eclipsing the original symptoms of my core mental health condition. The lethargy and exhaustion became so much that I was drinking a pot of coffee a day to stay awake and functioning at work. At that point I was experiencing so much anxiety from the coffee that I realized what I had done, leaving me frustrated and angry. Even though marijuana is still sedating, it’s nice being able to use sativa strains during the morning and afternoon hours because they keep me focused, energetic, creative, and exhaustion-free. For the longest time I had switched over to sativa concentrates in particular, but now I’m going back to medical marijuana flower again for a few months at least because of the cost difference. I find that I can get much higher for much longer by using quality cannabis flowers. With many other things in life, you get what you pay for, at least in regards to what dispensaries you shop at. Some marijuana stores will happily sell you dried out and stale flower buds, whereas another weed store would never think of sending poor quality like that out the door. Thos cannabis dispensaries are more interested in long term business and a better reputation on social media.

Buying cannabis

The best companies are the ones that offer incentives for minum purchases

I like retailers that offer discounts and incentives when you reach minimum purchase amounts.

There was a sandwich shop close to my old office that gave customers free soda if their purchase total was above $20. Occasionally I would collect money from other people in the office so we could make a big order and get free drinks in the process. This was a big hit around the office until it got to the point where I couldn’t even carry the orders back by myself because everyone wanted a piece of the action. Sadly, the last time I visited that restaurant the promotion had ended. However, the weed store that I always shop at has its own set of incentives depending on how large your order is. Usually I go to their website once a week to create a home delivery order of medical marijuana flower buds. Occasionally I also purchase cannabis edibles, however usually it’s only jars of cannabis flower buds. No matter what you purchase, as long as you spend at least $100 on each order you get a free pack of 5 pre-rolled joints. These amount to a gram and a half in total among all 5 joints added together, which is nothing to scoff at. It’s especially nice if the cannabis dispensary has pre-rolled joints of strains I haven’t had a chance to try yet, thus allowing me a chance to sample the strain without risking buying something that doesn’t give me good effects in the long run. And since I usually stock up whenever I make delivery orders from this particular cannabis dispensary, it isn’t hard to spend at least $100 each time.

Can’t get CBD but I can get hemp products

What is the difference with this? Hemp oil tends to have more nutritional benefits and does have a higher CBD content typically.

Sleep has always eluded me. I just can’t wind down and relax at night. I have done everything I can think of to sleep. I eliminated blue light before bed. I work out during the day and meditate right before bed. I have a top of the line mattress, soft sheets, a new pillow and a sound machine. I was even eating kiwi before bed because that has been linked with helping sleep. The problem isn’t falling asleep, it is staying asleep. I wake up three times a night. I am fully awake so I might as well pee, fix my sheets and see how my cat is doing. I end up staying awake about an hour each cycle. It is horrible and affects my productivity at work. I read online that a lot of people take CBD oil in order to sleep at night. Getting the CBD product has proven difficult. My state doesn’t allow for recreational cannabis. So full spectrum CBD is off the market with me. I am even having difficulty getting my hands on a CBD isolate and broad spectrum CBD that doesn’t have any THC content. One thing I found I am able to get is hemp products. What is the difference with this? Hemp oil tends to have more nutritional benefits and does have a higher CBD content typically. However, CBD oil is known for being more effective with medical issues like mine. I think I am going to try hemp anyway. At this point I have nothing to lose. I would smoke, eat and drink hemp if that is what it took to sleep well at night.

Finding the right CBD product for my pains

I got into a car accident not that long ago and I wanted something to help me with my pain.

I didn’t want to take pain pills and get addicted.

Stretching, messages and doctor visits did nothing. I read online that the cannabis plant can be really good for helping my injuries. Cannabis can reduce inflammation and relax my muscles to improve the daily pain. I was originally not all that excited about trying cannabis. I have a very high pressure job that I need to keep a clear mind for. I didn’t want to walk into work high as a kite. I also didn’t want to smoke a joint on my lunch break and have everyone talking about it. I then did a little research and found that I don’t even need to have THC in my cannabis product. I can simply stick to CBD strains and be on my merry way. I have found that full spectrum CBD does contain around .3% of THC in it. There are severe cases of users failing drug tests over it. Not wanting to change that, I stuck to a broad spectrum CBD product. Additionally, I didn’t want to smoke my cannabis product. There are CBD oils you can put under the tongue or hide in drinks. There are gummies and pills that you take everyday. I liked the idea of a topical though. I wanted to remove my pain, so targeted relief seemed to be the smartest. I also have a product that looks like a normal lotion. Nobody knows that I am using a cannabis product.

Local Sustainable cannabis products

Sustainability is pressing in region where resources are limited

One of the most pressing parts of our task as a cannabis consultant is helping farmers learn how to harvest their plants sustainably… I grew up in the region and I think how pricey and limited the resources can be, then water is a scarce supply, and that is the most pressing resource in this section of the country, but sustainable farms need to learn how to use the water with the least amount of waste. I often consult on these projects! The environment is constantly changing, but our harm to the world around us is constant. When farmers have trouble with crops and setting up sustainable water systems, they call me. I set up water catchment systems that are particularally helpful. The plan allows you to catch any water runoff. The extra water is recoverd as much as possible. We only have a short rainy season and catching the water is one way to help your farming operation near drought season. I consulted on a project recently that kept myself and others busy for three weeks. I helped set up a water and irrigation plan for a local farmer. The farmer just started selling cannabis to medical dispensaries and he is in over his head. That can happen from time to time when the company grows faster than you. That’s the best time to hire a consultant to help get you through the rough parts.
