The recreational marijuana shop has been very short handed these last few weeks, some of the reason is due to the pandemic, plus some of the reason is simply due to a immense amount of turnover, and both of us lost a couple of employees when a current recreational marijuana shop opened a lounge plus hired more people. Both of us still have to stay open from morning until night, plus there are less people to fill those hours, and i have been working a lot of overtime while in the last 3 weeks. I usually take off Sunday, but I work if the boss needs someone to fill a few hours that morning. I am trying to save money, because our girlfriend plus I want to take a vacation to the islands. Both of us have been reading how to scuba dive for a while, however both of us haven’t been able to go anywhere that is a tropical location… All of the dives are very upscale. I have been taking all of the overtime offered at the marijuana shop so our girlfriend plus I can book our tickets plus go while in the offseason, however the water might be a little colder, however both of us will still be able to enjoy the dive experience. I didn’t want anyone to get hurt that day, so I tried to remain as calm as possible. I told everyone to get down on the ground & I told the burglar that he was welcome to take anything that he wanted. The people I was with and I didn’t want any complications & the people I was with and I weren’t going to stop him from taking what he wanted. The guy looked surprised that no a single was going to stop him. Then he started filling a bag with items from behind the counter. He filled the whole bag with Edibles & vape pen cartridges. He didn’t even go into the register for money. It’s as if he knew exactly what he wanted. The people I was with and I didn’t stop the guy & the police showed up a few sixths after the guy ran out the door. I hope he will not get away, despite the fact that I recognize the police are still asking questions & canvassing the city.
