I came to marijuana in a very round about way.

The idea that it could help me with my anxiety and depression was so far off my radar that I never even considered the possibility.

But then, life sort of had a way of changing all that up for me. My life has always been spent dealing with some form of anxiety and depression. By the time I was in high school, I was diagnosed with clinical depression and put on meds. The medication definitely made a difference. I was no longer suicidal and was able to function. But that was it, I could function. It didn’t mean I was happy or whole but I could sort of get through life. Not that I go to the local cannabis spot, I’m happy to report that my life is far more rich than I could have possibly imagined. Yet, it took a family member getting cancer for me to discover medical marijuana. My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago. And part of her treatment was using medical marijuana to help with nausea from the treatment. Fortunately, my sister doesn’t have the anchor of anxiety and depression and met her battle with cancer in a great frame of mind. She beat it too. But I was so impressed by the medical marijuana that I started researching it. And I found that sativa has been shown to really help in the treatment of anxiety and depression. Since access to the local cannabis was now completely legal, I gave it a try. And I have to say that I was just so very pleased with the outcome. I’ve seen my condition improve far more than it ever has with the addition of marijuana in my life.

It was sort of a left turn I didn’t see coming when I agreed to go shopping with a new friend. I figured we’d hit the mall and maybe grab some lunch. That’s sort of my normal routine when I go shopping. I met my new friend downtown and I followed her as she led the way to our first destination. It turned out that she went straight into a cannabis dispensary located not too far from my apartment. I was a bit taken aback at first. While I had experimented with recreational marijuana back in college, it was not something that I still did. And thinking back on it now, I think I quit using marijuana because I just didn’t like the smoke. So when we headed into the local cannabis spot, I told my friend that I really didn’t use recreational marijuana but I’d shop with her. This was my first time inside any sort of marijuana business. And man, I was amazed by what I found there. The place was like a really nice wine shop but with cannabis products instead of wine. It was the most pleasant place to shop as the vibe was good and the staff was most attentive. My new friend even bought me a yummy pot brownie. I have to say that later that afternoon, I found that edibles are my new favorite thing to shop for!

But unfortunately, we live in a state that would put me straight in prison for growing even one plant.

That still seems totally ridiculous given that we can visit the next state over and shop for recreational marijuana both legally and safely. So while it has been tempting to plant a few marijuana plants for my wife and I alone, it’s just not worth the risk. That’s especially true the last few years. Having relatively nearby access to a cannabis dispensary makes getting the cannabis products we want a breeze really. There is some trepidation with coming home with our marijuana products but we are very careful there. Normally, we make a bit of a weekend out of our cannabis dispensary outings. The closet marijuana business is about 3 hours away. This is far enough that we choose to just go and make a weekend of it. It’s fun to get a hotel room and get to shop the cannabis dispensaries in this town we visit. They have some great local cannabis spots that have so much variety. We like to check on the new cannabis strains whenever we go. Once we have the sativa and indica products we want, we head back to the hotel. And then we imbibe a bit before going to a wonderful dinner at one of the many great restaurants in this town. And those dinners are just the most amazing dining experiences thanks to the fact we have some weed and don’t have to drive to the restaurant. It’s a great trip and we really enjoy it.

If shopping legally for marijuana for sale is too much for you, the local cannabis spot now offers a marijuana delivery service. That’s a been much for me to really take in. Where was the marijuana delivery service when I thought it up back in college. I can remember sitting around with my friends on a Friday night getting ready to order a load of pizza. Most of the time my friends and I were into some recreational marijuana use on Friday nights. I can distinctly remember saying that there should be a way to have a marijuana grower also be a pizza delivery person. That way we could get our pie delivered and enjoy cannabis delivery. For me, so much of the fun is experiencing the ability to shop for marijuana for sale. It’s been years now that access to a cannabis dispensary has been open to those of age. Still, I can hardly believe when I walk into a marijuana business to shop for legal marijuana. There was never a time when I was buying marijuana products where I felt safe. So when I walk into my local cannabis spot, that’s the first thing that I am grateful for. My entire adult life seemed to be one long work day in many ways.

I married right out of highschool and we had kids pretty quickly. This meant that I needed to work and work hard to provide for my family. I was in charge of the East Coast Division for a long time, plus then my family plus I decided to move to the West Coast. I transferred to the West Coast branch of the medical marijuana non-profit corporation. The laws on the west coast are a lot odd plus it is much easier for people to grow marijuana on their own. I find myself dealing with other complications instead, love contracts plus permits… Patients can contact our repair if they have legal questions or troubles plus every one of us set them up with lawyers in the area that can help. I savor helping people and it is a single of the reasons that I savor working with the law.
