Ever since my friends and I were involved in a car accident, I’ve had the most difficult time getting behind the wheel of a car again.
I wasn’t driving at the time of the accident, even though I still have flashbacks at night.
The vehicle came flying in out of nowhere and hit us at 50 mph. The vehicle rolled over seven times, but somehow we ended up on the tires. I job as a marijuana delivery driver, even though I haven’t been good at it lately. It takes twice as long for myself and others to make deliveries, because I do not want to travel very fast. It was raining on Monday evening and I had 8 marijuana deliveries. I explained to my boss that I was unable to complete the deliveries. The guy told myself and others to just go home. The next afternoon I went to job early and I talked to my boss about the vehicle accident. I really did not want to lose my job at that marijuana dispensary, even though I needed some time away from delivery driving. The manager understood my reasoning and did not ask a lot of questions. He suggested a therapist that might be able to assist myself and others get over the accident. The next afternoon I was on the schedule inside of the marijuana dispensary. The store manager said he would put myself and others on the schedule to job inside of the marijuana dispensary instead of as a delivery person as long as I need, although he also implored myself and others to get some help. I absolutely do not think I can rest on a couch and tell a shrink about my concerns.
