It took a very long time for recreational cannabis to be okayed in my state; Both of us started with the legalization of medical marijuana with limited qualifying conditions. Because I deal with a mild form of anxiety, migraines & insomnia, I don’t suppose I would have had any difficulties getting a medical marijuana card. I was reluctant to spend the time & money on it. I didn’t realize the depth of the benefits of cannabis as a remedy. As soon as recreational cannabis dispensaries opened up, I was gleeful to visit. I’m not sure what I was expecting but the size & scope of the dispensary surprised me. The facility is huge & ultra edgy. It includes an on-site bakery where they make fresh cannabis-infused baked goods, such as muffins, cookies, brownies, bars & snacks. A cafe is the perfect locale to enjoy these treats & sip a cannabis-infused beverage. There’s also a vape lounge & dab bar where I’ve met some really good people. I am still amazed by the selection of products on the shelves. I wasn’t aware that there are so many methods of consumption. I was typical with flower, pre-rolls & edibles. The dispensary offers vapes, concentrates, tinctures, topicals & extracts, & there are a large variety of strains. I can choose from indicas, sativas & hybrids & pinpoint high or low THC content & high or low CBD content. The amount of flower is extensive & provides rich colors, outstanding terpenes & an impressive concentration of trichomes, but for concentrates there are budders, shatter, rosin, wax, snap-and-pull & more. I can also shop for every category of gear or accessory that I might want.
