I realize now that I have had anxiety problems for my entire life, but it wasn’t until recently that I remembered my strange mental health symptoms from before I went to kindergarten.
My mom told me on multiple occasions that I used to get paranoid whenever I’d randomly make eye contact with someone in the store or at a restaurant.
I would nervously ask my mom why everyone in the store is staring at me and would nervously cling to her leg in the process. Although I randomly forgot about these experiences at one point in time, I could remember them like yesterday when my mom brought them up to me when I first started going to therapy. Despite being in therapy for a number of years, I needed some form of medicine to help with my symptoms. I tried drugs like buspar, xanax, and prozac, but they all had unintended side effects that made me feel more miserable in the long run. However, I quickly learned that cannabis products give me much needed relief from my chronic anxiety. But when a high THC product gave me bad effects recently, my medical cannabis physician told me to try CBD products with delta-8 THC used in conjunction. The THC found in legal cannabis products is more specifically delta-9 THC. It’s sister cannabinoid delta-8 THC has some of the same effect as delta-9 but at a much weaker potency. Since the delta-8 THC is already going to be weaker than traditional THC, a CBD product sprayed with delta-8 THC oil is a great way to get anxiety relief with a bit more of a kick than a pure CBD product.
