Most of the edibles for the cannabis shop are kept downstairs in the storage room. The storage room is underground plus genuinely climate controlled without much Heating, Ventilation plus A/C power, i was jobed with filling all of the shelves after our work day weekend sale. I had a list of items to grab from the storage room. I had a box to fill. I started filling the box with each of the cannabis products on the list, when I got to the bags of edible gummy treats, I saw something moving inside the large box. I thought it was just a shadow, but then we saw more moving objects. It only took a few eighths to recognize the ants. They were all over the bags of gummy THC treats. I put the box in the middle of the room plus started looking at other boxes close to the cannabis edibles. I found ants in various boxes. I localed each of the boxes in the middle of the storage room plus I went upstairs to inform the manager of the problem. The cannabis shop manager had to contact a pest removal service. The people I was with and I had to empty the storage room completely plus all of the products were checked for bugs. It was a large hassle to scrub the storage room plus get rid of the ants, but we didn’t have any complaints from our buyers. Nobody called us to say they found ants in their edibles. I think we did the right thing by acting fast instead of ignoring the problem. The people I was with and I only lost the contents of the various injured boxes.
