This part of the country has some serious flooding however normally there is advanced warning and we find out ahead of time. Sometimes it is a surprise for some people and then there are 12 hours when the sea levels will rise up and keep rising without giving us any type of notice. Around here some people slept with everything that was okay and then woke up with a flooded town. People were accessing vehicles to try to get away from town and the only way that we could leave was in a kayak or a canoe. People were loading up families and then there were still some people trapped. I didn’t have any options except to take my belongings and then go sit on the roof. I packed up a suitcase with clothing and personal items and then retreated to the roof. One of the items that I wanted to pack up was a potted cannabis plant that was healthy and robust.
