The last pot delivery was way out

I was working very late on Saturday and I was a single 1 of the last drivers at the store.

A client called for delivery around 9:50.

Bob and I stopped taking delivery orders online by 10:00. Sporadically Bob and I stop answering the phones early, however the store director told me to answer the phone line when it rang at ten minutes until the hour. I had everything in stock, so the client received their order that very evening. There was only 1 single delivery driver left in the store. I set up the delivery and put all of the items in the bag. The last delivery was way out west. It was about 13 miles round trip to the delivery address. I knew that the next driver that came to the store would be responsible for taking the next order. Sadly, the next driver had car trouble and the other 2 boys were going to the other side of town. The boss asked me to take the delivery instead. I did not want to make the trip in my truck, because it uses a lot of fuel. The boss told me that she would give me 5 bucks extra out of her pocket to cover the extra gas in my truck. I agreed to get the marijuana delivery to the customer. It was late, foggy, and the rain was starting to fall as I pulled into the drive of the customer. The lady was actually thankful that both of us made the delivery that evening and she gave me a 20 dollar tip. I’ll never complain again when the boss asks me to make a delivery. That single tip was nice enough to make up for multiple.
