I’m finally a medical cannabis customer

Getting old is no joke; the only real superb thing is that I have enough money and insurance to get all the drugs I need… But for the last fifty years I have been a respected consumer of both whiskey and marijuana, however liquor has constantly been legal in my lifetime, so that has remained a steady constant.

For about 49 of those 50 smoking years, weed has been illegal; as all long-time potheads already know, the law was never an impediment to acquiring cannabis, it just means there are fewer options.

Last year medical cannabis was legalized, and the rumor mill says that recreational use will be legalized next year. This makes my life better for me, because it felt a little silly being a 72 year old guy and buying cannabis from boys! I don’t have to worry about that any longer, because there are now numerous unusual legal cannabis dispensaries within driving distance! My doctor approved me for a medical cannabis prescription card, which means I can go to any of these shops and buy whatever I desire. There are limits, of course, because not a single person is allowed to buy an ounce of cannabis all at once. This makes sense to me, who would need so much cannabis unless they were planning to sell it? I usually just buy a few grams of cannabis at any given time, partially because I care about having a variety of strains to choose from, then even if I could buy a full ounce of Blue Dream I don’t believe I would, because I love trying something current every time I go to the dispensary.
