After hearing this, I knew I needed to discover a way to get the laws changed in my state
One thing I never actually believed would happen, was not needing to hide the fact that I use pot on a regular basis. The complication with our country is that pot is not legal in the whole country, but only in a few states. When I heard that marijuana happened to be legal in some states, I had the desire to know why it wasn’t legalized in my state. I have a neighbor in another state who feels it is wonderful to have legalized recreational marijuana in their state. She said she forgot to bring a lighter with her so she could light up her marijuana pre-roll cigarette. She was going to see her Grandmother at the nursing home, and she asked the groundskeeper for a lighter. I laughed when she told me that she had a pot lollipop in her mouth. The groundskeeper laughed a great deal and asked if she smelled the marijuana. She admitted she needed the lighter for her pre-roll. She also said she was glad she remembered she had the pot pop in her billfold. She easily offered to trade the cigarette lighter for a pot pop, admitting that she had left her pot brownies back in the break room. After hearing this, I knew I needed to discover a way to get the laws changed in my state. It just isn’t honorable that I need to sneak around to enjoy a bit of marijuana once in a while. The country definitely needs to get their act together and legalize not just medical marijuana, but recreational marijuana for anyone who ultimately has the desire to enjoy it. I would love to be able to relax on the porch with a marijuana cigarette or a pot pop and not have my neighbor threatening to call the police all the time.
