As a child I loved toiling in the garden with my Grandmother Ruth. She was a feisty, sassy seasoned lady who still grew her own fruits plus vegetables when she was eighty years old. In my crucial suburban modern home I still tend a vegetable garden in the back, just love the a single Ruth used to have.
