Inflammation is part of the deal from here on, as I stay active and challenged
I’ve always been into fitness. When I started working out, in high school, I was only interested in impressing the ladies! It was the jock thing to do. I’d get buff in the weight room and take that body to the beach or the lake. But, working out – pursuing health and wellness – stayed with me. Now, I’m in my 60’s, and cannabis products are part of my fitness regiment. Who would’ve figured? When I was younger, I smoked my share of marijuana, with friends and at parties. Even then, I was reasonably careful about what I put into my body. What we believed about the effects of cannabis on our bodies was rife with myths and misinformation. So, I found it ironic when my doctor was on board with me using sativa and indica products, as part of my overall wellness plan. When you get to be this age, the body is not as willing, but that doesn’t mean giving up. I just listen to my body, and don’t go too hard on it. However, along with added plant protein, the indica products are enabling my body to recover from workouts and high-energy activities. I have better range of motion and less inflammation. Inflammation is part of the deal from here on, as I stay active and challenged. So, whatever I can do to manage inflammation is welcome. I’m so happy I’m finding such benefits with the indica products, and the sativa strains just help me take all this aging in stride.
