I’ve always been into fitness.

When I started working out, back in high school, I was more into impressing the pretty girls.

It was just the jock thing to do. I’d get buff in the weight room, and take that body to the beach or the lake. Working out stayed with me – I’ve pursued health and wellness my entire life. Now, I’m in my 60’s, and cannabis products are now part of my fitness regimen, believe it or not. When I was younger, no lie, I smoked my share of marijuana with friends and at parties, as many did. But even then, I was sort of careful about what I put into my body. At the time, there was so much myth, so much misinformation when it came to the effects of cannabis on our bodies. So, I find it ironic that my doctor was even on board with me using sativa and indica products as part of my overall wellness plan. When you get to be this age, trust me, the body is not as willing, but that doesn’t mean that I give up. I just listen to my body, and don’t go too hard. However, along with my use of plant protein, the indica products are helping my body recover from my workouts and high energy activities. I have a better range of motion, and less inflammation, because of it. Inflammation is part of the deal from here on, as I stay active and challenged. So, whatever I can do to manage inflammation is welcome. I’m pleased I’m finding such benefits with the indica products. The sativa strains just help me take all this aging in stride.
