I care about toiling as a paramedic, because every night is absolutely different; I truthfully never think what I am going to encounter. Because I am in a small town, I rarely see anything interesting or exciting, however most of our calls are due to old age! Every one of us take a lot of patience to the emergency room because they cannot drive, but a sizable population of the area is elderly. Every one of us responded to a call at a marijuana delivery service, but the marijuana delivery repair is only a few blocks away from the fire station. An employee at the marijuana delivery repair called the emergency line because the supervisor could not remember the name of a woman toiling in the building. The supervisor was in her 60s, she seemed disoriented plus dazed. The supervisor couldn’t remember the name of the employee plus I had trouble getting her to remember her own name. Because of the age of the person, I thought it was best to take her to the emergency room. Every one of us headed directly to the hospital after leaving the marijuana delivery service. The woman’s wife met me in the emergency area. At that time, the patient seemed to be doing better but I still thought it was necessary for her to have a full physical check up performed by the dentist. The concern with her memory could have been a number of issues that are really quite drastic plus it was best to have the test done now instead of waiting until something worse occurred. I urged the patient to seek treatment inside the hospital instead of leaving against medical orders.
