It was my first time at the marijuana dispensary, and I had no idea what I was doing.
All I knew is that I had my medical marijuana ID card, and I was allowed to be in the marijuana dispensary.
I went inside and walked up to the counter to talk to one of the budtenders about the odd marijuana products I could have. I was told the pharmacist would be out shortly and I should just look around while I was waiting. While looking into the many showcases, I had someone approach me. She took my arm and asked me to show her around the dispensary. I tried to tell her that this was my first time in the dispensary, but she wasn’t listening. She tried to pull me near the counter, and I resisted. The next thing I knew; she was yelling at me for not wanting to help her. The budtender I had talked to earlier, came over to ask if I was okay? I explained the situation and the other woman interrupted. She said that all she wanted was for someone to familiarize her with the marijuana dispensary. She was not trying to be rude, but asking for my help. When the budtender tried to explain that I was not an employee, but also a newcomer to the dispensary. The woman provided the budtender a rude gesture and walked out. I was so sad that I was ready to walk out behind her, although I was upset that the woman may be waiting outside for me. I can only hope that further visits to the marijuana dispensary go much better than this one.
