I only get a couple of afternoons away from my spouse and children, everybody needs a break from time to time.
My spouse gets a break when she makes her way to the spa with her good friends once every week.
She’s gone for the whole weekend and I never choose to complain about her absence. She doesn’t complain when I choose to go dirt biking with my good friends. I got a brand new dirt bike a couple of weeks ago and I’ve been dying to take it out. My good friends and I made plans and we were supposed to go out to the lake to ride our bikes. Jack had to cancel and then Carl canceled too… At that point, I made the choice to change my plans. Instead of going dirt biking, I decided to go to the city for the weekend. I stayed in a hotel by the airport. I relaxed in the bar and drank all day. I watched all of the games that I wanted with no interruptions whatsoever. I even ordered recreational marijuana from a pot shop close to the hotel. I wouldn’t normally buy recreational marijuana, but it sounded fun and I didn’t have any responsibilities to take care of. I even got free delivery from the pot shop, because it was across the street from the hotel. They brought my $15 order in less than 20 minutes and I got high numerous times from the same recreational marijuana joint. I had a pretty nice time by myself and I felt seriously relaxed at the end of the weekend.
