My job requires me to move around a lot.
I end up staying in temporary housing in new locations.
I rent a place for anywhere from six to eight months before I’ve finished the job and get scheduled somewhere new. I like exploring the city, sampling unusual foods & visiting local attractions, state parks and sights. I don’t bother to be social or make many friendships. I move too often to form any lasting relationships. I don’t want to make the effort. So instead, I prefer to wander farmers markets, find hiking trails, ride my bicycle around the city or sample local wineries or breweries. If I happen to be situated in a state that includes legal recreational marijuana, I’m delighted. I have not bothered to obtain a medical marijuana card. Every state has strict rules and few provide reciprocity. I don’t need cannabis to treat any ailments. I enjoy recreational use. I might smoke an indica before bed. I might enjoy a sativa edible before I head out on a hike. The cannabis dispensaries usually offer a wide variety, so it’s easy to find what I want. I just need to be sure it is legal for me to make a purchase. Once I get settled into my new accommodations, I find the closest dispensary and usually browse their selection of cannabis products online. I don’t always visit the actual dispensary. Most of the time, the dispensaries include either curbside pickup or delivery. I love it when they will bring my order right to my apartment. I like to cook with cannabis-infused cooking oil. I can place an order a few hours before I start the meal and the driver will ring the doorbell with my order. It is so convenient, simple and rewarding.
