Crohn’s disease is an awful problem that affects millions of people.
- Crohn’s disease causes a lot of pain and inflammation in the abdomen and intestinal area.
I have suffered from Crohn’s disease for the past 8 years. I had surgery a couple of years ago and I haven’t had any flare-ups until just recently. I’ve been starting to feel nauseous when I eat and that is a sign that problems are starting. One thing that I can do to help with the nauseous feeling is smoke a little bit of weed. Weed is one thing that absolutely helps me in a lot of different ways. When I feel nauseous and I don’t want to eat, marijuana gives me the munchies. If I smoke a little bit of weed, I want to eat everything in the refrigerator. Marijuana is also great for pain relief. Chronic pain problems are one of the leading reasons why doctors suggest patients use cannabis. I haven’t had to use as many pain pills since I started regularly using marijuana each and every day. I also sleep better if I smoke a bowl before I go to sleep. Indica strains like grandaddy purp and OG kush are perfect for night time. They make me feel more relaxed and a lot less anxious. Xanax works pretty well too, but marijuana doesn’t make me feel groggy the next day. I wish that I would have known about medical marijuana a long time ago. I feel a great deal of relief and I think it would have made some of the flare-ups a lot easier to bear.
