Most days I never get out of there until after 6:00 p.m., but on Wednesdays I usually get to leave around 4:00.
I work at a marijuana delivery service 5 days during the week. During the summer, we are always busy. One reason is the nice weather. People want to stay at home or enjoy activities when the weather is nice. Nobody wants to run errands when the sun is shining and there are no clouds in the sky. Sometimes when I go to the marijuana delivery service, I will work 10 hours before all of my orders are delivered. When I get to the marijuana delivery service in the morning, I have a box ready for me to pick up. My name is on top of the box. It’s up to me to make sure that every single one of the orders in the box is accurate. I am the last person to double check and staple the bag shut. After that, I leave the delivery shop and head out for the day. Sometimes there’s 12 orders in the box and sometimes there are 20. It depends on the day and the weather to be honest. Wednesdays aren’t usually a very busy day. Sometimes I even get to go home early. Most days I never get out of there until after 6:00 p.m., but on Wednesdays I usually get to leave around 4:00. Wednesday was a scorcher and the temperature was 95°. We had a lot of deliveries to the hotels and motels near the beach. Unfortunately, a lot of the deliveries were young people and I didn’t get very good tips. Even though I had 14 marijuana deliveries that day, I barely made $100 in tips.
