I have never ordered from a marijuana dispensary before, because I don’t live in a state where marijuana is legal.
We don’t even have legal medical marijuana.
When I went to hang out with some friends on the west coast for a week, I decided to order from a marijuana dispensary near me. I didn’t know that I needed cash for the order. I plan to pay for the marijuana items with my debit card. I wasn’t concerned with anyone seeing my bank statement when the delivery driver arrived with my marijuana order, he gave me the total. I handed the guy my debit card and he told me that the dispensary only accepts cash. I thought the kid was joking, but he told me that there was an ATM in the lobby of the hotel if I didn’t have enough money. I guess the guy probably goes through this a lot, because he knew exactly where the ATM was located. I put on some shoes in a room and I walked downstairs to the lobby to an area where there is an ATM and a couple of snack machines. I took some cash out of the ATM while the delivery driver waited by the front desk. I didn’t want that guy hovering over my shoulder when I was putting in my PIN code for the atm. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get marijuana delivered to my hotel, but it was a fun experience. I’ll be able to share that crazy story for lots of years in the future.
