My husband and I love to travel.
Unfortunately due to COVID, traveling isn’t as great as it used to be. We don’t want to go to a new country and be forced to wear a mask the whole time. A lot of places still have services not offered or locations that are totally closed down. That isn’t worth it to me. Typically the two of us just stay within the United States. There are plenty of pretty places to visit and it is cheaper. We also don’t need our passports, everyone speaks English and the travel distance is shorter. There have been a lot of fun locations over these past few years. What is great is that I found my husband and I really enjoy doing certain activities in each state. I try to book either a wine or food tour when we travel. I also make sure to find a fun hike and pick out a day where we lounge at the spa. Another fun thing is heading to a cannabis dispensary. Our state only allows for medicinal marijuana. Having recreational weed is quite a treat. I looked up all the legal weed shops in the area and chose the best one. We have hung out in a vape lounge, tried dabbing concentrates and even bought edibles at the bakery inside a cannabis dispensary. It makes for a fun time and it is something we can’t do in our area. Picking one day in our vacation to get a little high is quite fun too. I would much rather smoke than booze.
