My friends and I used to be big booze drinkers.
It was always a big deal to go out to the bars.
Someone would host at their house, supply pregame drinks and then we would head out to town. I hated going to the bars. I never really saw the point in buying expensive drinks to stand around in a circle somewhere else. I hated when I needed to pee in the bar bathroom too. I am not a great drunk either. I tend to lose motor skills and fall down on the ground. I also will have a terrible hangover the next day and totally wreck my weekend. It isn’t what I call fun. Now that recreational cannabis is legal, my friends and I party differently. Now someone hosts a cannabis night. We all get together to watch a movie, play boardgames or just hang out. Then we smoke a ton of weed. What is nice is that the cannabis dispensaries offer cannabis delivery services. So nobody has to buy all the weed and be stuck with the bill. We each place an order at the legal weed shop and it comes to the door. We all can stay in someone’s comfortable home and get high. I can pee in a clean bathroom and have unlimited access to snacks. When I am high I am way more fun and relaxed. Another bonus to marijuana is that it isn’t as dangerous as alcohol because you can’t overdose. Additionally, the next day I feel totally great afterwards. I am so glad we made the change to marijuana.
