When I worked at the grocery store, my schedule was actually Monday to Friday from 8:00 in the early morning until 3:00 in the afternoon. I got a break for lunch plus another break in the afternoon. I appreciated that task at the grocery store, but I wasn’t going to get a raise any time soon or acquire more money. I heard about a task at the marijuana dispensary. The marijuana dispensary was looking for delivery drivers. I chose to apply for the task plus I said that I would easily work on any shift possible. I honestly hoped that I would be able to get something during the day, but I was willing to do anything to get this job. The manager did not have any daytime positions available at the time… She needed a delivery driver to handle the nights plus weekends… Nights plus weekends are completely different compared to my last schedule. I hesitated for a moment but I did not want to give up the task at the medical plus recreational marijuana dispensary. I knew the tips were going to be wonderful. It’s been super hard to adjust to the new working schedule. I have to find time during the afternoon to run errands plus get my chores completed now that I am working at night. The tips are awesome though, plus I am making a lot more money than I did when I was working at the grocery store. I used to make close to $400 each week at the grocery store plus now I am earning that much money in tips. I also get paid an hourly wage that is completely without the tips I make from marijuana deliveries.
