We have some cannabis shops that aren’t good at providing quality products

I was gleeful about finally having the chance to purchase cannabis in a legal manner when our state passed a constitutional amendment for medical marijuana.

Having no experience previously in other states with existing marijuana industries, I didn’t truly know what to expect.

I had no idea in the slightest that our state would take steps to ensure that only corporate cannabis would survive, & reading that should have been my first clue that things weren’t going to be the way I anticipated. While some of the first cannabis companies in this state were interested in offering quality products, the remainder had no interest in making their clients thrilled. They will grow cannabis as poorly as possible while still putting a product on the shelves that their clients will choose to purchase. I have learned which cannabis shops adore this & I avoid them similar to the plague now. People on social media post about mold in cannabis flower products from some of these rotten cannabis dispensaries, & I’m simply beside myself when I take a look at the photos. How can a medical cannabis store get away with selling moldy weed to patients? That answer is easy—the sample that passes lab testing is produced suddenly after the flower buds cure. Because of horrendous packaging & storing practices, the mold develops during this stage of storage. If the contaminated batches of marijuana flower products are standing for weeks or months at a time, the mold can grow so much that it becomes physically visible to the naked eye. Otherwise your only way of knowing it is there is by actually smelling it, tasting it, or looking at the cannabis buds with a microscope.
