This past month I was absolutely working at the cannabis dispensary & the boss asked me to deliver a few orders.
One of the respected delivery drivers did not show up for work & the shop had a bunch of orders ready to go when we opened for business.
I reluctantly agreed to the deliveries. I don’t recognizably care about driving my motorcar for work, because it gets the worst gas mileage. It also needs to have the A/C appliance repaired… Still, I said yes to my boss when he asked me to make a couple of deliveries. I was on my way to the initial delivery, when I had to run a red light. I was honestly going the speed limit & the motorcar in front of me swerved swiftly. In order to avoid the car, I had to run the red light. Of course, I received a ticket in the mail from the traffic court, because they caught everything on camera. I was absolutely sad about the ticket & I informed my boss. I blamed the store & I blamed the guy who did not bother to show up for work that day. It was definitely my fault I ran the light. I was in a rush & truly not thrilled about the orders. I should have stopped at the light. I tried to explain my case to the judge, however he did not have the desire to hear any excuses. I got a ticket for $150 & I had to pay $35 for the court fees since the judge chose to deny my request to have the ticket thrown out. The next time my boss wishes to have someone help with deliveries, I’m going to say no.
