I made an attempt to explain my case to the judge, although she did not want to hear any excuses
The other day I was laboring at the cannabis dispensary plus the boss asked me to deliver a few orders. One of the regular delivery drivers did not show up for work plus the shop had a dozen orders ready to go when every one of us opened for business. I reluctantly agreed to the deliveries. I do not particularly adore driving my car for work, because it gets the worst gas mileage. It also needs to have the AC device repaired! Still, I said yes to my boss when she asked me to make a few deliveries. I was on my way to the first delivery, when I had to run a red light. I was going the speed limit plus the car in front of me swerved suddenly. In order to avoid the car, I had to run the red light. Of course, I ended up getting a ticket in the mail from the traffic court, because they caught it on camera. I was undoubtedly frustrated about the ticket plus I told my boss about it. I blamed the store plus I blamed the person who did not show up for work that morning. It was my fault I ran the light for certain. I was in a hurry plus not ecstatic about the orders. I should have stopped at the light. I made an attempt to explain my case to the judge, although she did not want to hear any excuses. I ended up getting a ticket for $150 plus I had to pay $35 for the court fees since the judge denied my request to have the ticket thrown out. The next time my boss wants someone to help with deliveries, I’m going to politely say no.
