Arrowroot is a common ingredient in gluten-free baking, and originally, the business involved roasting coffee and baking allergen-friendly treats. As the business grew, so did my interest in specialty coffee roasting, and that side of the business took off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The space was transformed from its previous life as Recycled Records, yet the browsing mindset still applies. In the 1,800-square-foot cafe, a tall white brick wall displays the Arrowroot plant logo beside a lounge area furnished with leather chairs and a homey rug under warm wicker pendants.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh roasts also fill the hoppers of dual Mahlk\u00f6nig E65W <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/10\/30\/mahlkonig-deepens-connections-with-new-sync-scale\/\">Grind by Sync espresso grinders<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2021\/11\/18\/mazzer-rolls-out-the-zm-super-jolly-v-up-and-a-new-automatic-tamper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mazzer ZM grinder<\/a> for batch and pourover filter coffees.
