Craveworthy Brands press release photo.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async=\"\" defer=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/proxy.beyondwords.io\/npm\/@beyondwords\/player@latest\/dist\/umd.js\" onload=\"new BeyondWords.Player({ target: this, projectId: 50015, contentId: 'a4969a10-c522-494d-8874-487a359dd7ed' })\">\n<\/script>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The parent company of New York-born specialty coffee chain <a href=\"https:\/\/gregoryscoffee.com\/\">Gregorys Coffee<\/a> has officially launched franchising with plans to expand beyond the current base of more than 50 company-operated locations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craveworthybrands.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Craveworthy Brands<\/a>, a multi-brand restaurant franchisor and hospitality company that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/08\/11\/craveworthy-takes-managing-stake-in-nyc-chain-gregorys-coffee\/\">became Gregorys\u2019 managing partner last year<\/a>, is backing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/gregorys-coffee-launches-franchise-program-opening-the-door-for-entrepreneurs-to-grow-with-a-proven-specialty-coffee-brand-302687876.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">franchise push<\/a>. The move comes about six months after Craveworthy made an undisclosed investment in Gregorys.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new program, Craveworthy said franchisees will receive support spanning real estate, training, operations, supply chain, culinary, marketing and technology, including \u201cdata-backed\u201d site selection, onboarding and store training, plus ongoing operational guidance.<\/p>\n<p>The companies said initial franchise growth will focus on \u201chigh-density, high-opportunity\u201d areas such as urban neighborhoods, commuter hubs, college towns and lifestyle centers, with emphasis on regions including the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Mountain West and select West Coast markets.<\/p>\n<p>The company has not publicly disclosed franchise fees or franchisee investment requirements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Founded in Manhattan in 2006 by Gregory Zamfotis, Gregorys typically leans on a fast-paced service model paired with freshly roasted specialty coffees and a food menu focused on fresh ingredients. In a 2022 DCN interview, Zamfotis described <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2022\/09\/28\/a-chat-with-gregory-zamfotis-of-iconic-new-york-chain-gregorys-coffee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">speed and efficiency as central<\/a> to the brand\u2019s operations and identity.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve spent years building Gregorys with intention and care to ensure it stood the test of time before opening the door to franchising,&#8221; Zamfotis said in an announcement of the franchising rollout shared by Craveworthy. &#8220;With the support of an industry leader, we&#8217;re partnering with passionate operators who share that love for the hustle and grind and want to bring something meaningful to their communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3533\" data-end=\"3764\">Craveworthy Brands describes itself as the parent company of quick-service concepts such as Big Chicken, founded by Shaquille O\u2019Neal, along with Dirty Dough, Bd\u2019s Mongolian Grill, Flat Top Grill and more.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><em>Comments?
