DCN has also reached out to Morgan Stanley for comment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"250\">The potential Blue Bottle divestment is part of a broader portfolio review under the watch of new <a href=\"https:\/\/businesschief.com\/news\/how-is-nestle-ceo-targeting-growth-with-plan-for-job-cuts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nestl\u00e9 CEO Philipp Navratil<\/a>, who was appointed in September following the dismissal of Laurent Freixe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"250\">It also comes as at least nine Blue Bottle Coffee locations in the U.S. have unionized. Some <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/12\/01\/blue-bottle-workers-strike-over-thanksgiving-weekend\/\">120 Blue Bottle workers walked off the job<\/a> over the Thanksgiving holiday shopping weekend, alleging unfair labor practices and a lack of progress in contract negotiations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"250\">Blue Bottle represents something of a higher-end outlier in Nestl\u00e9&#8217;s global coffee portfolio, which is dominated by brands such as Nescaf\u00e9, Nespresso and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2018\/05\/07\/nestle-paying-7-15-billion-to-sell-starbucks-coffee-products\/\">Starbucks Coffee At Home<\/a>. Coffee conglomerate JDE Peet&#8217;s, which is being <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycoffeenews.com\/2025\/08\/25\/keurig-dr-pepper-acquiring-jde-peets-for-18-billion-forming-mega-conglomerate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquired by Keurig Dr Pepper<\/a>, has taken a similar approach with its ownership of Stumptown Coffee Roasters and Intelligentsia Coffee, two brands that helped grow the &#8220;Third Wave&#8221; coffee movement alongside Blue Bottle.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><em>Comments?
